Woodford Folk Festival 27 Dec 2003- 1 Jan 2004 Provicial Spirit Apron Project ~ brought visual arts to the people with an installation at the hugely popular Woodford Folk Festival. This annual event attracts about 140,000 visitors over 6 days. The artworks hung from old fashioned clothes line, custom built for the occasion, and housed inside two large marquees joined together. Some Apron sculptures were displayed on plinths sawn from thick logs. The installation was situated in the visual arts section of the festival. Nearby an an apron making workshop, was facilitated by Sue. Thanks to Penny Smith, WFF visual arts coordinator, for her support.
